- Tap AH, EE, OO or SSS to pick the vowel.
- Match the sound as closely as you can to score points with the judges.

- Four sound buttons for shaping the noise

- Five gigs, starting with a Living Room Party
An animal sounds game for adults, not toddlers
Search for animal sound games and you mostly find apps for babies: tap the cow, hear a moo. Sound Like a Goat flips it. You make the noise, and you are judged on it.
It is closer to a rhythm or karaoke game than a kids' app. You listen, match pitch and pick the right vowel.
Tips for impressing the judges
Listen to the whole warm-up before you start. Hearing where the sound goes high and low makes matching it easier.
Move the pitch pad in small slides at first. It is easier to adjust a little than to correct a big swing.
Watch the judges. Their row sits above the stage, and they are your audience for every round.
Why it is fun to watch, too
The best part of Sound Like a Goat is how ridiculous it sounds. A finger sliding on a pink pad, a vowel button and a judge who takes it seriously make for a good laugh.
It is a light game for a silly mood, with a party theme from the first gig.
