Stir the Map gameplay on RoamPlay free now

A creaky shop counter and shelves of jars set the scene in one of the cozy games like Potion Craft you can play on mobile, in the Roam app on iPhone. You run an old apothecary drawn in ink and sepia. Villagers come to the counter with their troubles, like Pell the Ploughman, whose boy fell from the hayloft. Decide to brew or turn them away, then grind, stir and map your herbs into the potion that fixes the problem.

How a customer works

  1. Read what each customer needs in their speech bubble.
  2. Tap Brew it or Turn away.
  3. Grind and stir the herbs to steer the potion across the map.
  4. Serve the right potion to earn coins.

What you get

  • An ink-and-sepia illustrated shop
  • Villagers with names and their own ailments
  • Brewing by grinding, stirring and mapping herbs
  • Days, coins and an ingredient stock to manage

Games like Potion Craft: brewing on a map

Potion Craft is loved for one clever idea: brewing is a journey across a map, and each ingredient pushes your potion in a direction. Stir the Map is built around the same idea, and the name says it. You grind, you stir and you guide the brew to the right spot.

It is smaller and quicker than Potion Craft. Each villager is a short story with a clear request and a reward, so one customer makes a satisfying session. The choice to turn someone away adds a little weight, since not every job is worth your herbs.

The art helps a lot. Everything looks hand-drawn on old paper, from the counter to the jars, so the shop feels like a page from a storybook. The first day is called The Splintered Counter, and the old shopkeeper sets the scene before your first customer walks in.

Tips for your first day

There is a short intro with the shop's owner. Let it play once, since it sets up the story, or tap Skip if you have seen it. Read each request carefully, because the ailment points to the potion. Watch your ingredient count at the top. If a job pays little and needs a lot, turning it away is fine.

Who it is for

Fans of cozy shop games, alchemy and slow, thoughtful play. It is gentle and has no fail state that punishes you hard.
