Play DEEP CLEAN

Meet Bruce. Great white. Bites first. Asks never.

Free on iPhone in the Roam app. Android coming soon.

The patient is Bruce, a great white shark, and his mouth fills the whole screen. He has three bad teeth and no patience. Pick a tool, scrape off the tartar, pull the rotten ones, and get your hands out before he bites. DEEP CLEAN is a shark dentist game that is equal parts funny and tense, and Bruce sees you for free in the Roam app on iPhone.

How to clean a shark

Choose a dental tool from the tray at the bottom of the screen.
Scrub tartar off the teeth and pull the bad ones.
Watch the shark's mood. Work fast before it bites.
Clear all the bad teeth to finish the patient and unlock more tools.

Why it is so tense

A giant, detailed great white mouth right in front of you
A tray of tools, with more that unlock as you go
A health bar and limited hands: get bitten and it costs you
Each patient has a name, a type and a count of bad teeth

A shark dentist game, not your usual dentist games online

Most dentist games online are cute and slow, with a cartoon kid in the chair. DEEP CLEAN puts a predator in the chair instead. The work is the same, scrape, pull and polish, but the patient can end your shift at any moment. That turns a cleaning game into a timing game.

The teal clinic light and riveted tool tray give it a grim, funny look.

Tips for keeping your hands

Start with the teeth marked as bad. Bruce has three, and those are the job.

Do not linger. Short, quick strokes with the scraper are safer than long ones. If the shark starts to stir, pull back and wait instead of finishing one more tooth. Keep an eye on your health at the top left, and treat each bite as a lesson in timing.

Who it is for

Fans of shark games and odd job sims, and anyone who likes a game that is easy to explain in one line. Clean a shark's teeth before it bites: everyone gets it right away.

It also works as a quick test of nerve. You know the bite is coming. The game is about how long you dare to keep working.
