Shift started. A card pops up: Hot Dog Harbor, $4.98, 640 meters away. Tap the green check, drag to steer and hit the gas, and your delivery truck pulls into a sunny city street toward the customer. Rush Order is a food delivery game online players can learn in one order, with drift and boost buttons for when the clock gets tight. Shifts are free in the Roam app on iPhone.

How a shift works

  1. Tap the order card to accept a job, or the red X to skip it.
  2. Drag to steer and drive. The same drag controls the gas.
  3. Use Drift for sharp corners and Boost for straight roads.
  4. Reach the customer, drop the food and earn the fare. The minimap points the way.

What makes the shift fun

  • Order cards with a price and a distance, so you choose your jobs
  • Drift and boost buttons for fast, arcade driving
  • A star rating and an 8-minute shift clock
  • A bright city with parked cars, trees and a minimap

If you like Crazy Taxi

Crazy Taxi made rushing someone across a city into a game. Rush Order has the same pull: a destination, a ticking clock and a city full of shortcuts. The difference is the cargo. You carry food orders instead of passengers, and you get to choose which order to take.

It is a calmer ride than Crazy Taxi, with more focus on routes than stunts.

Tips for a five-star shift

Look at distance before you accept. A short order that pays well is better than a long one across town.

Boost on straights, drift at corners, and keep an eye on the minimap so you never miss a turn. Your rating sits at the top left next to the shift clock, and fast drop-offs keep it high.

How this food delivery game online compares

Many delivery simulator games are slow truck sims with long hauls and fuel gauges. Rush Order is closer to an arcade driver: quick jobs, short distances, a lot of steering and a drift button for the tight corners. It suits players who want the delivery fantasy without the long drives.
