Rain falls on a flooded town, cars sit half under water, and two people wave from a rooftop. Helicopter Rescue is a helicopter rescue game you play in the Roam app on iPhone. Drag to fly, hover over the stranded people to pick them up, and bring them back to the helipad. Height is automatic, so the whole game is about where you fly, not how you handle a cockpit.

Flying the chopper

Drag on the left side of the screen to fly. Height takes care of itself.
Follow the waiting marker to find people on the roofs.
Fly over them to pick them up.
Land back on the helipad to complete the rescue.
Rescue the number shown at the top, starting with 2, to finish.

Tips for faster rescues

Look at the waiting marker before you take off and pick the nearest roof first. Fly straight lines over the water: there is nothing to dodge, so curves only cost time. When the counter says NEED 2, you only need two people to finish, so do not search the whole town before heading home.

Count the people already on board before you land. Coming back with too few means a second trip into the rain.

A full mission takes a few minutes, so a second run to beat your coin count is easy to fit in.
