Two buttons, one dino

Tap jump (the screen says 'Tap to jump') to hop over obstacles.
Tap duck to get under anything coming in low.
Keep running; your score climbs with distance.
When a run ends, start again and beat your best score.

If you like the Chrome dino game

Google Chrome's offline T-rex is a classic for anyone who has lost Wi-Fi. Outrun Extinction keeps its rules, jump and duck to survive, and moves it into a 3D desert.

It is not made by Google. It is a separate game in the Roam app that borrows the idea and adds depth, light and scenery.

Dino game 3D: what changes

In 3D, obstacles come toward you out of the desert haze instead of sliding in from the right. Timing a jump feels a little different, so the first few runs are about learning the distance.

The controls stay simple. One button jumps, one ducks, and the T-rex does the running.

A familiar habit, upgraded

If you killed time on the Chrome dino during a Wi-Fi outage, this is the same habit with better scenery. It is one of the easiest games to learn: two buttons and a score.

It is also good for a quick competition with yourself. The score counter starts at zero every run, and the only question is how far the T-rex gets this time.

How do you duck in Outrun Extinction?

Tap the duck button. Use it for obstacles that come in low, and the jump button for everything on the ground. Timing both moves is the whole skill, and the score shows how well you did.
