How to make it on Roam
Roam is a free iPhone app. Start from a photo of the two of you, or her pet, and add one of the sentences above. It comes back playable, with world, art, characters, sound and rules. Then you change it by talking: "make it pink", "slower jumps", "add our song title on the last screen".
Play it yourself a few times before you send it. Make sure it is easy enough for her to finish, because the ending is usually where the message is.

Keep it short, five minutes is plenty. Put one surprise at the end. Choose a photo she likes of herself. Give it on a day that means something, or when you are sitting next to her so you can watch her play.
