The height meter starts at 0 m, and the only hint says drag to the red peg. Arms Too Long is a stretchy arm game in the Roam app on iPhone: your little red blob has one rubbery arm, and you stretch it to a peg, grab on and pull the rest of you up. Big swings earn BIG FLING popups and serious height. A clumsy grab does the opposite.

How a climb works

  1. Drag from your blob toward a red peg to stretch the arm.
  2. Reach the peg to grab it and haul your blob up.
  3. Swing and fling to reach pegs that are too far for a plain stretch.
  4. Try the glowing grips when the hint points them out.
  5. The meter at the top counts every meter you gain.

Built for one more try

  • One control, drag, and a physics arm that wobbles about as much as you fear.
  • A tall stone tower lined with red pegs and the odd glowing grip.
  • A crew of blobs at the start in hats, one of them wearing a crown.
  • BIG FLING moments when a swing pays off.

Getting Over It, but with an arm

Getting Over It with Bennett Foddy and A Difficult Game About Climbing both turn climbing into a test of patience: one tool, a tall wall and gravity waiting. Arms Too Long is from the same family. The tool here is a stretchy arm instead of a hammer or a pair of hands.

It is brighter and friendlier than either. The blob is cute, the tower is sunny stone, and the drag control fits a phone screen better than a mouse swing does.

Tips for a stretchy arm game this wobbly

Short reaches are safer than long ones. Take the nearest peg unless a fling is clearly lined up.

When you do fling, commit to it. A half swing tends to fall short and give back the height you had. And watch for the glowing grips: the game points them out for a reason.

Rage climbing, minus the cruelty

Fans of rage games who want the feeling without the cruelty, and anyone who enjoys physics toys. A climb works fine in short bursts: grab a few pegs, check the meter, put the phone down.

The blobs and their hats add charm, and the BIG FLING popup is a small, honest reward for a risky swing.

Arms Too Long FAQ

Can I play Arms Too Long free on iPhone?

Yes. It is free in Roam, so every fall back down the tower costs you nothing but pride.

Is Arms Too Long a rage game?

A mild one. It is a stretchy arm game where a bad grab can cost you height, like in Getting Over It, but the cheerful look keeps the frustration light.

What are the controls?

Just drag. Pull toward a peg to stretch the arm and grab it. There are no buttons to learn.

How high can you climb?

The meter keeps counting as long as you keep finding pegs above you. Beating your own best height is the real goal.
