Don't Air That is a radio host horror game set in October 1986, on the night a fog warning goes out over a small town. You sit in the booth at WGUL 1340, the phone lines light up, and every caller wants airtime. Within seconds you are reading a transcript and choosing: air it, check it or bury it. You play it in the Roam app on iPhone, and each choice tips the town's panic and trust a little further.

How a night in the booth works

  1. Tap a caller card to pull up what they are saying.
  2. Tap a line of the transcript to listen closer before you decide.
  3. Pick Air it, Check or Bury for every call.
  4. Keep one eye on the panic and trust gauges as the hours pass.

What sets the mood

  • A dim 1980s radio booth lit by a green CRT terminal
  • Transcripts that type out line by line, at the caller's pace
  • Two gauges, panic and trust, that move with every decision

If you liked Killer Frequency

Killer Frequency put you behind a late night mic in a small town with something bad outside. Don't Air That keeps that core: you are the voice of the station, and the people calling in are scared, confused or maybe lying. The radio is your only window on the town.

The difference is the job itself. You are not talking one caller through an escape. You are the gatekeeper. Every call is a small judgment, and the gauges show what those judgments do to the town over one long shift.

Playing a radio host horror game on a phone

The whole game is reading and choosing, which suits a phone screen. There is no aiming and no running, so it works fine in bed with the lights off, which is the right way to play it.

Read each transcript to the end before you pick. Panic and trust both move with your calls, so watch how each choice shifts them and adjust for the rest of the night.

Don't Air That FAQ

Does Don't Air That cost anything?

No. It is free to play in the Roam app on iPhone.

What do you actually do in Don't Air That?

You screen calls at a 1986 radio station during a fog warning. Read each caller's transcript, then air the call, check the story or bury it. The panic and trust gauges show how your choices land.

Is Don't Air That like Killer Frequency?

Both are horror stories told through a late night radio show. Don't Air That is its own game made on Roam, and its focus is deciding which calls reach the air.

Is it a scary radio host horror game or more of a story?

It is mostly a story you steer. The tension comes from the calls themselves and from not knowing which caller to believe.
