How combining works

Drag an element from the drawer onto the stone table.
Drop a second element on top of it to combine them.
A new discovery goes into your codex, ready to use in the next mix.
Follow the quests, starting with Brew your first Steam.
Use Hint when you are stuck, Clear to reset the table, and search to find an element fast.

Element Alchemist vs other games like Little Alchemy

Little Alchemy made element combining famous: start with air, earth, fire and water and mix your way to hundreds of things. Infinite Craft, from neal.fun, brought the idea back with combinations that never seem to end. Element Alchemist starts from the same four elements and the same rule, two in, one out.

Think like nature. Fire and water make steam, so ask what heat, wet, air or earth would do to each new thing you find.

Try every new element with the four basics first. Most early discoveries come from one new item plus one old one. When a mix fails, use a hint instead of guessing at random.
