Every kid in the schoolyard has a 4-digit number on their forehead, including you. Read My Head is a multiplayer game with friends online in the Roam app on iPhone, and the rule fits on one line: read a forehead, tap its number. Run around, get a clear look at a rival, punch the digits into the keypad and score. Meanwhile they are trying to do the same to you, and a popup like Ziggy is watching you means it is time to move.

How a round works

Move with the joystick and jump to get around the schoolyard.
Tap the eye button to look at a rival's forehead.
Type their 4-digit number on the keypad. Use backspace or clear to fix a typo.
Score by reading 8 foreheads before the 3:00 timer ends.
Keep moving so nobody gets a clean look at your own number.

A multiplayer game with friends online that is not a shooter

Most quick multiplayer games are about aiming. Read My Head is about seeing. You win by getting close enough to read four digits and fast enough to type them, while turning your own head away from everyone else.

That makes rounds loud and funny when friends join. Everyone runs in circles, peeks, dodges and types at the same time.

The 3 minute clock keeps rounds short, so a loss turns into a rematch fast. The keypad sits on screen the whole time, so there is no menu between spotting a number and typing it.

Inviting friends into the schoolyard

Roam lets friends join a game, and Read My Head is built for a crowd. Invite people into a round and the schoolyard turns into a race of eyes and thumbs. If nobody is around, rivals like Ziggy fill the yard so you can still play.

Tip: approach from the side. Rivals look forward, so coming in at an angle gives you a few seconds to read before they turn.

Not quite. You do not guess. You read the number off a rival's forehead and type it fast, so it is more about looking and speed.
