Vote Them Out is a party election game online: you campaign, sway the vote and try to get your rivals voted out before they do it to you. Play the Campaign alone, try The Candidate, or face a friend in Local Versus or an Online Duel. It is free in the Roam app on iPhone.
Picking how to play
- Choose a mode on the Election Day menu.
- Campaign is the main solo mode.
- The Candidate is its own mode on the same menu.
- Local Versus is for two people on one phone, and Online Duel matches you against another player.
- Win votes, push rivals out and collect trophies.
What makes it a party game
- Four modes on one menu, from solo to head to head.
- A trophy counter that tracks your wins.
- A styled election poster look, with a crowd in the arena.
- A simple premise anyone gets at once: vote them out.
A different kind of election game online
Most election games online are simulators: maps, polls and percentages. Vote Them Out is a party game instead. The idea fits in three words, and the fun is in the rivalry, not in the spreadsheet.
That makes it closer to a voting game you play with a group, where the point is getting someone else out, than to a strategy sim about real politics. It is short to explain and easy to hand to someone who has never played it.
Playing with friends
Two of the four modes are made for other people. Local Versus works when you are sitting next to someone, and Online Duel lets you face another player from far away.
If you would rather learn the game first, start in Campaign, then bring a friend into versus once you know how the vote works. Roam is built around this kind of play: try a game solo, then send it to friends.
