What Loopit does well
Loopit comes from Beijing SeedLeap Intelligent Technology and has been on the App Store since January 2026. It calls what you make a playable: something you tap, swipe or shake instead of watch. You describe an idea, the AI builds the art and logic, and you post it to a feed where anyone can remix it.
Its Google Play listing says playables can respond to taps, swipes, tilts, shouts, music and what the camera sees. On Nov 4, 2026 Loopit had 4.8 stars from about 47K ratings on the US App Store and 5M+ downloads on Google Play. People like it, so a good alternative should do something different.
A playable to share, or a game to play together
The two apps start the same way: you type what you want and get something playable back. The difference is what comes back. Loopit makes playables: memes you can poke, tactile toys and mini puzzles. A Roam game comes with a world, characters, sound and rules, and you keep shaping it by talking ("more enemies", "make it two-player").
Roam is also built around your group. You can start from a photo of a friend, your pet or today's meme, then play it solo or with friends. Loopit's social side is its feed: follow creators, make playlists and remix.
