Free on iPhone in the Roam app. Android coming soon.
Play free nowBlock Bistro is one of the simplest games like Burger Please you can play on iPhone, inside the free Roam app. You start as the only chef in a tiny diner with 150 coins and a burger waiting at the pass. Drag to walk it to the first customer, grab the coins they leave, then step on a build pad to add another table. Every new seat brings more people through the door, so the real job is keeping up with your own growth.
Controls and the first minute
- Drag anywhere to walk your chef around the diner.
- Walk over the pass to pick up a burger, then walk to a waiting customer to serve it.
- Coins appear where people paid. Walk over them to collect.
- Stand on a 100-coin build pad to buy a new table or upgrade.
- Fill the level bar, which starts at 0/10, to level up the diner.
What keeps the diner busy
- One finger does everything. There are no buttons to learn.
- A top-down camera lets you watch the room grow, table by table.
- A star rating that shows how well you are keeping up.
- A few deliveries already pay for the next upgrade.
Block Bistro vs other games like Burger Please
Burger Please! made the carry-and-build loop popular on phones: you are the staff, you walk the food over, and the money you pick up turns into new furniture. Block Bistro keeps that core. There is no cooking minigame and no recipe screen. The challenge is routing: which customer to serve first, and when to stop serving and go spend your coins.
The difference is size and tone. Block Bistro is a small low-poly diner with blocky customers and one pass, so it reads well on a phone screen. It suits players who want the calm part of a restaurant tycoon without a long setup.
Tips for a faster diner
Do not wait for a huge coin stack before you build. An early second table pays for itself quickly, because every seat is another paying customer.
Plan a loop: pass, nearest table, coins, back to the pass. When the level bar is almost full, finish those last deliveries before you buy anything else.
Block Bistro FAQ
Is Block Bistro free to play?
Yes. It costs nothing to play in the Roam app, which is also free on iPhone.
What do you actually do in Block Bistro?
You run a diner alone. Take burgers from the pass to customers, collect what they pay and spend it on tables and upgrades so more people can eat at once.
Is Block Bistro one of the games like Burger Please?
Yes. It uses the same carry food, collect coins, buy furniture loop as Burger Please!, in a smaller blocky diner. It is its own game made on Roam and has no link to the makers of Burger Please!.
Is it a cooking game?
Not really. You never cook or build a burger yourself. Burgers appear at the pass, and your work is serving, collecting and choosing what to build next.
