Play Hungry Shark
Eat, grow, and never let the hunger bar run dry.
Free on iPhone in the Roam app. Android coming soon.
Play free nowYour shark is already hungry when the game starts, and the hunger bar only goes one way unless you eat. Hungry Shark sits with the other games like Hungry Shark Evolution: swim, bite, grow and keep the meter up. The reef is murky and full of kelp, so you hunt by moving, not by waiting for food to show up. The whole hunt runs in the Roam app on iPhone, and every fish you catch fills the level bar a little more.
Controls and goal
- Drag on the left side of the screen to swim.
- Tap the yellow button to boost.
- Tap DART for a quick lunge at prey.

What you manage
- A health bar and a hunger bar that both matter
- A level bar that fills with every fish
- A depth meter that tracks how far down you go
- Boost and dart moves for chasing fast prey
Where it fits among games like Hungry Shark
The loop is the one you know: you are a shark, you eat to survive, and eating also makes you stronger. Boost and a fast dart are your tools for catching prey that sees you coming.
It is a smaller game than the series it is compared to. There is one shark, one murky reef and a depth meter that pulls you deeper. It is a separate game made on Roam, not Hungry Shark Evolution.
Tips for your first swim
Prey is not waiting for you at the start, so swim out and look instead of circling. The hunger bar is the real clock, and it does not stop while you explore.
Save the dart for the last few meters of a chase. A boost closes distance, the dart lands the bite. Keep an eye on health too, since a full hunger bar will not save a shark that is out of health.
Hungry Shark FAQ
Is Hungry Shark free on Roam?
Yes. It is free to play in the Roam app on iPhone.
How do you keep your shark alive?
Eat. The hunger bar drains as you swim, and fish fill it back up. Health matters too, so do not let it slip.
Is this one of the games like Hungry Shark Evolution?
Yes. It uses the same eat-to-survive and grow loop with a shark in the sea. It is its own game made on Roam, not part of that series.
Does the shark get bigger?
Your shark levels up as the level bar fills from eating, and the depth meter shows how far down you have gone.
