Land Grab plays like the games like Paper.io you know, where you leave your zone, trace a loop and claim everything inside it when you return. Rival racers can cut your trail while it is out, so each trip is a gamble. Each island is a match in the Roam app on iPhone, a race to own 50% of the map with 3 lives.

How to claim land

Steer with the joystick to leave your zone.
Come back to your land to claim the area you circled.
Hold to boost, and tap QUAKE to stun nearby rivals.
Reach 50% of the map to win. You have 3 lives.

How it compares to games like Paper.io

The rules are the ones that made Paper.io famous: your trail is your weak point, and a loop closed is land gained. Greedy loops win big or end your life.

Land Grab adds two buttons. Boost gets you home faster when a rival is closing, and QUAKE stuns the ones near you. It is its own game made on Roam, set on voxel islands.

The voxel islands also change how a round feels. Open ground is easy to claim, but rivals see you coming, so a lot of the game is choosing when to leave home and how far to go.

Tips for your first island

Draw small loops early. A safe little claim is better than a big one that gets cut.

Save QUAKE for when a rival is about to cross your trail. It is the button that turns a loss into a claim.
