Operation Red Sand, mission 1-1, First Light: knock out the SAM battery guarding the pass. You press Deploy and take control of a missile over a desert canyon, steering it toward the target. There are 16 missions and 48 stars to earn, three per mission. Guided Missile is a guided missile game built around precision, played free in the Roam app on iPhone. A star score waits at the end of every mission, so there is always a reason to fly it again.

Mission flow

Pick a mission on the Missions screen; the card names the target.
Tap Deploy to launch.
Steer the missile through the canyon toward the target.
Hit it to complete the mission and earn up to three stars.

A guided missile game, not a defense game

Most missile games online are about defending cities, like Missile Command. Guided Missile flips the view: you are the missile. The job is to fly it through terrain and land the hit.

That makes each mission short and focused. One target, one canyon, one shot at getting it right.

It also suits a phone well. Missions are self-contained, so you can fly one, check your stars and stop.

It suits players who like precise flying and missions with a clear end. Each mission card tells you exactly what to hit before you launch.

Star hunters get plenty to do too: 48 stars give you a reason to replay missions and fly them cleaner.

Operations group the missions, starting with Operation Red Sand, so you always know which campaign you are in.

Before you deploy

Read the mission card. It names the target and where it sits, like the SAM battery guarding the pass on mission 1-1.

Check the Armory between missions to see what it offers. The menu is one tap away from Deploy.

Take the first mission slowly. Learning how the missile turns in the canyon matters more than speed on 1-1.
