A ragdoll soccer game in the Soccer Physics tradition
Soccer Physics proved that soccer is funnier when nobody can stand up. Legless League runs on the same idea, with wobbly players and physics deciding half of every touch.
It gives you more control than Soccer Physics' one button. You run with a joystick and choose when to kick or dive, so goals feel earned even when they look silly.
Tips for winning the cup
Use the dive as a last resort. A missed tackle leaves your player on the ground while the ball rolls away.
Kick early. With ragdoll players, a shot from a little further out often beats trying to dribble all the way in.
Compared with realistic soccer games, which reward skill moves and passing patterns, Legless League rewards timing and luck. A dive at the right moment can win a match, and a perfect pass can still end in a pile of limbs.
For people who find serious sports games dull
Legless League suits anyone who likes sports games but not the serious kind. You do not need to know tactics; you need to laugh when your striker falls over in front of an open goal.
It is quick to start, with a VS card, a countdown and two minutes on the clock, so one match fits almost anywhere.
