Play free nowFor once the pig is the one in the slingshot. Pigs Will Fly is a pig slingshot game played in the Roam app on iPhone: hold FLY to pull back, watch the power bar, let go, and steer the winged pig down a red factory corridor lined with spinning sawblades. The progress bar at the top shows how close you are to the checkered flag. Within seconds you either hit the flag or turn into bacon.
Launch and steer
- Hold the FLY button to pull the slingshot back.
- Watch the power bar beside it and release at the strength you want.
- Steer the pig in the air with the joystick.
- Dodge the sawblades and pick up coins on the way.
- Reach the checkered flag to finish the corridor.
Why one launch is never enough
- A giant slingshot and a pig with tiny wings
- A long sci-fi corridor with sawblade columns down the middle
- A progress bar from pig to flag, so you always know the distance
- Coins to collect along the way, with a counter in the top corner
If you like Angry Birds
Angry Birds made slingshot physics a phone classic, and the pigs were always the targets. Pigs Will Fly flips that joke. You launch the pig, and instead of watching it arc into a tower from the side, you ride behind it down a 3D corridor and steer.
So the skill is split in two: a good launch, then good steering. A weak pull can leave you short of the flag, and a careless swerve ends at a sawblade.
Why this pig slingshot game works on a phone
Each attempt is short, the result is instant and the controls fit two thumbs. That is the loop that keeps slingshot games on home screens: try, crash, adjust, try again. Here the crash is a pig meeting a sawblade, which helps.
It also needs zero setup. There are no menus to learn before the fun part; the first thing you do is pull back a slingshot with a pig in it.
Pigs Will Fly FAQ
Is Pigs Will Fly like Angry Birds?
A little. Both are about slingshots and pigs. In this pig slingshot game you play the pig, launch it in 3D and steer it past sawblades rather than knocking down towers.
What do the sawblades do in Pigs Will Fly?
They end your flight if you hit them. They spin in columns along the corridor, so you steer around them on the way to the flag.
Does Pigs Will Fly cost anything?
No. It is one of the free games in Roam, and Roam is a free iPhone app.
How do I get a better launch in Pigs Will Fly?
Watch the power bar next to the FLY button and let go near the top for a long flight. Then keep the pig centered with the joystick so it slips between the sawblade columns.
