Don't Hug Trees is a snowboard game in the Roam app on iPhone: drag to curve, tap jump to pop off ramps, and hold jump in the air to grab for big-air points. Coins line the run, lives count your crashes, and the name tells you what not to do.

Riding basics

Drag to carve left and right down the slope.

If you like SSX

The feel is close to what made SSX Tricky famous: speed down a mountain, launch off a jump and hold a grab for points. It is about style as much as reaching the bottom.

Snowboard game tips for the Morning piste

Pop early. A jump tapped right at the lip of a ramp gives you more hang time, and more hang time means a longer grab.

Watch the treeline on curves. The pines grow close to the piste, and a crash costs a life. Save the boost for straight stretches, not for the run into a turn.
