Comets 0, Storm 0, a full stadium and a ball that is bigger than your player. BONK BALL is one of those games like Rocket League, but on foot: three cartoon strikers per side chase a giant physics ball and bonk it toward the goal. Dash to get there first, BONK to hit it, and SUPER for your special move. It plays in the Roam app on iPhone, with a replay every time someone scores.

Kickoff controls

Move your striker with the joystick.
Tap DASH to sprint to the ball.
Tap BONK to hit the ball.
Use SUPER when it is ready.
Score more than the other team before the match clock ends.

Games like Rocket League, without the cars

Rocket League is soccer with a huge ball and a lot of chaos. BONK BALL keeps both and swaps the cars for cartoon players. The ball is still giant, and the bounces are still hard to predict.

Because you are on foot, it is easier to control on a phone. Dash and bonk are all you need for your first goal. The giant ball is also easier to see on a small screen than a normal one.

Tips for your first match

Do not all chase the ball. Hold a spot near your goal while teammates press. Teammates cover more of the field when you spread out.

Line up behind the ball before you bonk. Hitting it from the side sends it across the field instead of toward the goal. Save SUPER for a shot near the goal, and use DASH to win the race to the ball after kickoff.

Matches are short and the kickoff is quick, so it fits a few minutes between other things. Callouts like SET UP! BONK IT! and the goal replays add to the noise.
