Play free nowThe speedometer reads 96 km/h before you have even turned. POWDER RUSH is a snowboard tricks game you play in the Roam app on iPhone: drag to carve down the Alpine Forest run, tap Jump at the orange ramps and spin in the air for score multipliers. Gates, coin lines, rails and boost pads fill the slope, so there is always something to aim at between the pines.
Carving, jumping, scoring
- Drag anywhere on the screen to carve left and right.
- Tap the big Jump button as you hit an orange ramp.
- Spin and flip while airborne, then land clean to cash the multiplier.
- Ride through the gates and over coin trails. The bar at the top shows how much slope is left.
- Follow the rotating goals, like grinding 3 rails in one run.
What is on the mountain
- A long 3D slope with pine forest, hot-air balloons and course gates.
- Real speed shown in km/h, with boost pads to push it higher.
- Trick multipliers that turn one big air into a big score.
- Coins and gems to grab on every descent.
If you like SSX
SSX made snowboarding about speed and tricks rather than realism, and POWDER RUSH follows that idea. You still hit ramps, grind rails and stack points off spins.
The difference is scale. This is one phone run with two inputs, drag and Jump, instead of a console course with a full trick system. It suits a quick session on the bus better than a long evening on the couch.
A snowboard tricks game for short sessions
A run takes a couple of minutes, and the screen tells you what matters: distance, speed and score. Nothing to unlock before the fun starts.
Tips: pick your ramp line early, because late carves bleed speed and speed is what buys air. Spin only when you have height to finish the rotation. And treat the rail goals as free points, since they keep the multiplier busy between jumps.
Who should ride it
Players who liked Alto's Adventure or old SSX runs and want something quick on a phone. Two inputs, bright colors and a clear distance bar make it easy to hand to someone who has never touched a snowboard game.
Experienced players get their depth from the multiplier: chasing the run where every single ramp gets a spin.
POWDER RUSH FAQ
Is POWDER RUSH free to play?
Yes. It costs nothing in the Roam app, which is free on iPhone.
Is POWDER RUSH more of a race or a snowboard tricks game?
Tricks lead. Score comes from air and spins, and the multiplier grows when you land them. Speed matters because it gets you bigger air.
Is POWDER RUSH like Alto's Adventure?
Both are snowboarding games on phones, but Alto's Adventure is a 2D side-scroller. POWDER RUSH puts the camera behind the rider on a 3D slope, which is closer to SSX.
How do I get a higher score?
Hit every ramp, add spins and land them. The multiplier does most of the work, so one clean trick is worth more than a handful of extra coins.
