Your goal sits at the far end of a forest diorama: a crown, and a tiny king who cannot reach it because a jigsaw piece is missing. Snap to Crown is a path puzzle game in the Roam app on iPhone. Drag a tile into the gap, line up the dirt path, press play and watch the king walk. If the road does not connect, undo and try another way.

Placing a piece

Drag the loose jigsaw tile toward the gap in the board.
Line it up so its dirt path meets the path on the board.
Tap the red play button to send the king walking.
Tap undo at the bottom left to take a move back.
Get the king to the crown to clear the level.

What kind of path puzzle game it is

Some path puzzles ask you to rotate pipes or slide tiles on a flat grid. Snap to Crown works more like a physical jigsaw: each piece is a little chunk of forest, and the path on it has to line up with the board. The puzzle is finding the right spot so the road continues.

Then comes the payoff. You press play and the king actually walks your route, which is more satisfying than watching a line light up.

The diorama style also makes the levels easy to read. Trees, rocks and the trail stand out clearly, so you can see at a glance where the road breaks.

A good fit for calm puzzlers

People who like calm puzzles, jigsaws and cozy games. There is no timer in sight and nothing chasing you. The first level shows you what to do with a pointing hand, so it is easy for kids and puzzle newcomers to start.
