A water gun fight game online, against zombies
Water gun games are usually backyard battles. Soak the Dead points the hose at the undead. The zombies are cartoon and the weapon squirts water, so it is a shooter you can play without blood or guns. The lazy river keeps you moving, so every few seconds there is something new to aim at.
It plays like a rail shooter on a pool float. The raft carries you along, and your only job is to aim and spray.
How it compares to other zombie shooter games
Most zombie shooter games online are dark city streets and real weapons. Soak the Dead is bright and silly: a sunny dome, pool rings and a water park full of goo. It still asks for good aim, but the mood is summer fun.
The dome over the park keeps the light soft and summery, which makes the green, gooey zombies stand out even more.
Tips for staying dry
Aim at the closest zombie first. The river brings them to you, so the near ones are the real threat.
Keep turning. Zombies can come from both banks of the lazy river.
Look ahead down the river too. Spotting a zombie early gives you time to line up the shot.
