Roam

Make a game with your friends in it

The surest way to make a game people care about is to put them in it. Take a photo of your group, tell Roam what game it is and what role each friend plays, and it comes back playable on iPhone. Friends are in the game, not just in the lobby.

Why it works

Nobody skips a game where their friend is the final boss. A face they know turns a normal run into an inside joke: you get to knock your brother off a sky island, or carry a pane of glass with your best friend through traffic.

Roles matter more than looks. Decide what each friend is: a teammate, a rival, a hazard, the prize, the boss. A good role fits the person, like the friend who is always late becoming the one you wait for at the finish.

How it works, step by step

Other routes are slow for this. In Roblox your friends join as their avatars. In Unity you would model each friend by hand. On Roam the photo is the brief, and the game is ready the same day.

Put your friends in a game with Roam

One photo, one game, a role for each friend. Free on iPhone. Ask them before you share it.

Try: "photo of my group, we are in a battle royale on the school roof, shrinking zone, last one standing, Max is the final boss"
