Drag to aim, tap the round button and watch the bullet ricochet through the cage. Chambered is a pixel-art shooting puzzle, one of the games like Mr Bullet that you play turn by turn in the Roam app on iPhone. Each chapter opens with a card that names it, sets par and gives a short hint.
Taking the shot
- Drag to aim and follow the dotted line to see where the shot will bounce.
- Tap the round button to fire.
- Use wait to pass a turn, undo to take back a move, and the bulb for a hint.
- Hit the guard in as few moves as par allows.
What makes it clever
- Ricochet shots that turn walls into tools
- Par for every level, so there is always a better solution
- Undo and hint buttons for when you are stuck
- Clean top-down pixel art rooms
If you like games like Mr Bullet
Mr Bullet made ricochet puzzles popular on phones: one shot, bounce it off a wall, hit the target. Chambered keeps the bounce and adds turns. You can move, wait or shoot, and every move counts against par.
That makes it feel close to Hitman GO as well, where planning each step matters as much as aiming.
Tips for hitting par
Read the chapter card. 'Don't take a step' on the first level is a hint: the answer is a shot from where you stand.
Use the dotted line. Try a few angles before you fire, because the line shows the bounce before you commit.
Undo is there for a reason: treat it as a way to test ideas.
For puzzle fans who like a little action
Chambered suits players who enjoy logic puzzles but want something with a bit of bang. Each level is a small room, a target and a question about angles.
It is good for short sessions. One level can take seconds when you see it, and the par score gives you a reason to replay.
