You stand on the training sands of a sunlit Roman circus, ringed by obelisks and roaring stands, with nothing but a dagger. Walk to the marker, learn to strike and dodge, then fight through day after day of games. Laurels and better weapons come with every win, a rifle among them, until you earn your freedom.
How the arena works
- Move with your left thumb and look around with the right.
- Attack with your weapon and tap DODGE to avoid hits.
- Follow the glowing markers to finish each objective.
- Use items from your slot, like the crate you start with.
- Win the days of games to earn laurels and, in the end, your freedom.
What makes it different
- A big first-person Roman arena with crowds and obelisks
- A growing arsenal, from a dagger to a rifle
- Days of games with laurels to earn
- A training stage that teaches the basics first
A gladiator fighting game you see through your own eyes
Most gladiator games show you from behind or from above. Circus Maximus puts you in first person. You see your own blade, the sand at your feet and the stands rising around you. That makes every dodge feel close.
The structure is a career. It starts small, with training and a walk-to-the-marker step, and grows into full days of games. Each day you earn laurels and the arsenal grows. The rifle is a deliberate odd one out in ancient Rome, and it changes how the late fights feel.
Tips for your first days
Do the training properly. It teaches the dodge, and the dodge is what keeps you alive later. Do not trade hits with stronger fighters. Dodge, then strike. Keep an eye on your HP, which starts at 100, and use items when you need them.
Made for
Fans of Roman history, sword fighting and first-person action who want a mobile game with a clear goal: survive and go free.
It is a good fit for players who like a sense of progress. You always know what day you are on, how many laurels you have and what the next objective is, because a marker beam shows you where to go.
