Seeds: 0 of 14. That counter is the whole brief in Peck the Sky, a bird platformer game played in the Roam app on iPhone. You walk Pip, a small dark bird, along wooden decks that float over a sea of clouds, flap across the gaps and peck up every seed you spot. It is a gentle climb, so the challenge is lining up jumps and finding seeds, not racing a clock.

Walking, flapping and pecking

  1. Drag the stick in the bottom left to walk Pip.
  2. Tap the green wing button to flap up and over the gaps between platforms.
  3. Tap the bird button to peck.
  4. Collect all 14 seeds. The counter in the top left keeps track.

Small bird, big sky

  • Floating wooden platforms, tall pink and teal pillars and a drifting hot-air balloon.
  • A seed hunt with a clear finish line: 14 and done.
  • A bright, soft look and a pace that never rushes you.
  • Several sky worlds to hop through.

What kind of bird platformer game this is

Think of an obby with feathers. The course is a chain of floating decks, ramps and pillars, and the way forward is to judge each flap well. Seeds sit on edges and raised decks, so collecting all of them means looking around a little instead of running the main line.

It is not a rage game. The pace is slow and friendly, and the cartoon look keeps it light.

Who it suits

Younger players, and anyone who wants a relaxed 3D hop rather than a reflex test. Fans of Roblox obby courses will know the shape at once: platforms, gaps, collectibles.

Tip: flap at the end of a walk, not the start, so Pip carries speed into the jump. And look up often. Some seeds sit higher than the deck you are standing on.

How it compares to bigger 3D platformers

Big 3D platformers are built around long worlds, enemies and moves to unlock. Peck the Sky keeps only the core: a character, a gap and a jump to judge. Its 14 seeds give you a target you can actually finish in one sitting.

That small size is the appeal. The scene is bright, a hot-air balloon drifts past, the first hint tells you to walk, and you are flapping across the first gap a few seconds later.
