Games to play on Discord with your server
There are three ways to play on Discord: built-in Activities inside a voice channel, a PC game everyone joins while in VC, or phone games you start together. Here is a pick list for each.
Built-in Discord Activities
Activities are games that run inside a Discord voice channel. Join a voice channel, open the Activities launcher, pick one, and everyone in the channel can join. Discord has said Activities are free for all users.
Activities Discord has featured include Gartic Phone, Putt Party, Poker Night, Chess in the Park, Checkers in the Park, Sketch Heads, Letter League, Land-io and Blazing 8s. The list changes, so check the launcher in your app.
- Gartic Phone. Draw-and-telephone, a long-time Discord favorite. Best with 6 or more people.
- Putt Party. Minigolf for the whole channel. Easy for people who do not play games much.
- Letter League. A word-building game in the style of a crossword board, good for slow nights.
Games servers play while in VC
Discord's 2025 year in review named R.E.P.O. the most popular indie game on Discord. It is a co-op horror game where friends haul loot out of scary places. Skribbl.io is the other classic: paste a private room link in chat and up to 20 people draw and guess.
New in October 2026: Scam With Your Friends by JakeHub and Metater, in Steam Early Access on Windows. It is a dark comedy call-centre game for 1 to 8 players. Worst Class Ever by Funcore Games topped the October Steam Next Fest demo chart. One player is the teacher, up to five sneak around class, which is great with voice chat.
Roam games for your server
Roam is a free iPhone app. People in the VC can open the same game on their phones. Vote Them Out is an election party game. Scam Call Crew is a comedy call-centre scam sim where the phones never stop. Block Wars is a 5v5 street shooter. Color Rush Arena is orange vs blue, most paint wins. Slime Scramble is a party royale: eight in, one crowned.
You can also make a game about your server. Describe it in a sentence and put your friends in it.
